Sao Paulo 1998
I met Edson under a viaduct in mid-1998. He departed a northeastern city with an unintelligible name ten years prior to look for work but found none. Wound up drinking and wandering the megalopolis. Kind and reserved, Edson allowed me to photograph him for about thirty minutes in exchange for a Fanta.
